Hiking to the forest as the answer of our mental health
Many people are often busy with their daily activities, whether they are doing household chores or working, but they often forget to take care of themselves.
When they say self-care, it is not about eating or drinking, but taking time to take care of your health, whether it is physical, mental and spiritual.
In this article, we are going to return to self-care in conjunction with a person’s mental health and the consequences that can occur to a person who does not take the time to take care of themselves properly.
Why do many people not value their mental health?
Starting from young people who are enrolled in various schools, whether primary, secondary or universities, and even others who move around in different roles, especially those who move around from their daily jobs and come home tired in the evening, starting a new year and going home, and so on, without any change in that person’s life.
Because of certain problems they may encounter at work or in those schools, they often have mental problems, become depressed, lose their minds, and become anxious. This does not only mean that you have problems of poverty, but mental problems also affect even others who appear to be living a good life that many desires.
Some people want to get rich quick and may resort to quick ways to gain wealth through illegal means, in which case such activities can put their lives at risk, including prison.
There are also others who want to live a very expensive life they want to live beyond their means. Mainly because they often want to live like some of those they see on social media, where they often take them as role models but in reality they do not know where these people get the wealth from. They show on social media, which is one of the reasons why many choose to live a false or a fake life.

Living luxury life on social media but in real life you live in extreme poverty.
When you take your phone and go to social media, you immediately see photos of people living expensive and even more expensive lives, but if you follow their daily lives, there is no surprise that they often have many problems that prevent them from sleeping.
Although there are those who live like that, there are also others who have a lot of money and many properties but still continue to have mental problems, although sometimes they do not know what to do to make their lives better.
Experts in mental health say that when you take time to take care of yourself, ignore the complexities of your daily life and decide to visit different places such as national parks, forests, hiking and climbing mountains, visiting places with lakes and rivers, all of this makes your mind forget what you usually go through in your daily life.
People who often visit places with forests, parks and those who hike and climb mountains, when you talk to them, they tell you that it has been particularly beneficial for their mental health, where it allows them to think clearly and put their minds on time.
Not only that, but such activities are very beneficial for the human body, especially in the work that the body has done to straighten the body, which many call sports.
Sports are very important for the human body where it is very beneficial for the person who does it. For example, when a person exercises to the point of sweating, some waste products that are released from their body, some fat is released, and their organs function properly again.

The lesson we can learn from the forest to help our mental health?
There are many lessons that you can learn from the forest where you go hiking. Human thoughts clearly see the daily lives of animals, how those of the same species unite and support each other in everything, and how they are able to cope with those who may come to fight them.
All of these and more that you don’t see on the list , you can learn from how we interact as humans in our daily lives.
