Smiling again after dark times – The Story of Papa Emile
Emile Nzeyimana, whose Smiling again after dark times popularly known as Papa Emile, was born on December 28, 1981, in Muhima Sector, Nyarugenge District, Kigali City, Rwanda.
Emile is the son with 5 sisters. He grows up as a child with various talents including Football, music, Acrobatics and drawing.
One thing that people might not know about, this man is that he starts a business when he is 8 years old.
Emile says that when he was 15 years old, he had a fortune of one million Rwandan francs.
When he was a young man, he falls in love with his beautiful girl, Ineza Parfine (TOMATO), and later they got married, and God blesses them with 5 children, three boys and two girls.
Papa Emile’s Difficult times, whose Smiling again after dark times
Emile whose Smiling again after dark times, says that in the past 3 years, God has returned his wife Ineza back to him, and he is currently in a new relationship with his fiancé Jessica Amani Chokwe, where they plan to get married soon.
The two met 5 years ago at work place and became friends as they grow closer together, they decide to take it to another level. He is telling friends, fans and families being ready to get the invitations soon.
Emile says: “First of all, Kenya (Nairobi) was my Dream City, the way boys grow having the Cities they love and see as a dream City, that’s Nairobi for me, so coming to Kenya was a way of expanding.”
Emile affirms that comparing Rwandan artists to Kenyan artists, he finds that Rwandans are more expensive to work with in terms of featuring and collaborating than Kenyans.
How is the relationship with Rwandan artists going?
Papa Emile says that today a style of music can confuse the sound but for sure Rwandan artists are very unique and Different.
He believes that Kinyarwanda music is unique comparing to other genres in other countries.
Emile says he still works with Rwandan Artists and they respect him since his leaving became beneficial to both sides.
Rwandan artists Papa Emile wants to produce songs are including Kivumbi, Ish Kevin and Bwiza.
Papa Emile whose Smiling again after dark times, got many Awards and he is still winning them.
He says: “But I can mention one that took place in my heart since it was the 1st one – MWAFAKA AWARD as the Best Producer of the year 2011-2012.”
This man who has expertise in producing and arranging music, says that all the music he has produced has been paid for even though people often say that there are some artists who refuse to pay producers.
To date, many Rwandan artists Papa Emile has produced songs for, including ALYN SANO.
Papa Emile says:” I can only say: all I am today is a result of the step I took when I was young, i decide to Follow Jesus Christ and he became my Life”.
His love for Football has also spread to his children
When you visit the Instagram wall of Producer Emile NZEYIMANA, popularly known as Papa Emile, you find many posts about Football.
He says he is a football parent and all of his sons are footballers and they are a family that loves football.
He is a super fan of Liverpool and in the future, he will have a football team. For that, football has his heart.
This man who loves football in his blood, he says that among international players in football he loves Messithe most.
Emile whose Smiling again after dark times relationship with his Rwandans
Papa Emile affirms that he has the activities in Rwanda, so he can say he lives in both countries depending on what’s happening at a time.
“Rwanda is my home and it has given me everything I need from it, but yes there are some things you would put in place and make me go there now. It’s home”.
Papa Emile whose Smiling again after dark times insists that even though he lives in Kenya for a long time for work, he is 100% Rwandan.
This man, who has an amazing ability to answer questions from a journalist, explains that among all the songs he produces as a producer, one song that has made him feel the strongest emotions such as crying, pain and joy is a song “Guhinduka birashoboka”. Papa Emile says: “I can only say: all I am today is a result of the step I took when I was young, i decide to Follow Jesus Christ and he become my Life”.
